Molbio Diagnostics, an innovator in global healthcare from Goa, is enhancing healthcare accessibility with its revolutionary Truenat® real-time PCR platform, recognised by the World Health Organization (WHO). Extending this ethos of equitable access beyond diagnostics,Molbio continues to drive meaningful social impact in its home state of Goa through its latest CSR initiative. In partnership with Aastha’s Centre of Excellence, the company has supported the establishment of a dedicated Occupational Therapy Unit and an Audiology Unit, designed to address critical developmental and therapeutic needs of children with disabilities.

The new units are part of Molbio’s broader mission to bridge systemic healthcare gaps, ensuring equitable access to quality services for vulnerable communities. With this intervention, more than 100 children currently enrolled at Aastha—and many more through its Early Intervention Centre—will gain access to professional assessment, routine therapy, and developmental support.

“At Molbio, we believe that access to healthcare must begin with access to opportunity—especially for children with special needs. Our partnership with Aastha reflects our enduring commitment to inclusive growth, where every child, regardless of ability, is given the tools to thrive. These therapy units are not just infrastructure—they are pathways to dignity, independence, and long-term empowerment,” said Sangeetha Sriram, Director-Operations at Molbio Diagnostics Limited.

The Occupational Therapy Unit will help children build essential motor, sensory, and daily living skills, while the Audiology Unit will address undiagnosed hearing challenges that often hinder speech, communication, and learning.

Together, these units form a holistic support system aimed at unlocking each child’s full potential. The inauguration event will be held at Aastha’s Centre in Goa in the presence of local dignitaries, health experts, and community stakeholders.
