Daivadnya Samaj Margao & Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association organised a career guidance programme ‘Path to Bright Career’ for a better understanding of Artificial intelligence (AI); at Daivadnya Bhavan, Margao, recently. Over 90 students from various schools from Goa, took part in the programme.
The function was inaugurated by chief guest Jayesh M.Raikar, Director of Goldy Industries India Pvt Ltd; Tania Shirodkar, Assistant Professor of Management Studies, at Dhempe College of Commerce & Economics; and Shruti Chodankar, Director of Global Talent Acquisition, Commscope. Dr Vipul Mathur, Ex-Faculty from IIM Kolkata joined the function through video conferencing.
Vice-President of Daivadnya Samaj, Atul Verlekar welcomed the guest and shared the importance of upgrading the knowledge on AI. Seema Vernekar, President of Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association, emphasised significance of attending such programs which help the students to choose a correct and sustainable career.
Tania Shirodkar shared the ideas and information on available courses that can be taken, to pursue a good and demanding career. Dr Vipul Mathur enlightened the students on various tools available on AI with practical demonstration on how to use these tools in education field.
Shruti Chodanker explained the students the importance of AI & its application in industries and the future job opportunities. More than 170-strong audience attended the event organised under the leadership of Upendra Madkaikar, Chairman of Education cell at Diavadnya Bhavan Margao & co-ordinator Prashil Salkar. The event was hosted by Suphala Revankar & concluded by Vote of thanks by Kishor Revankar, secretary of Daivadnya Samaj.
