Tvisha Sardesai and Ethan Ataide were at the centre of key final-round action at the ongoing Baale BPS Open 2026, as multiple categories were decided at the B.P.S. Sports Club, Margao.
In the Girls Under-18 final, Tvisha Sardesai delivered a composed performance to defeat Urvi Panandiker and clinch the title, closing out the match 4-1, 4-3. In the Boys Under-18 final, Ethan Ataide emerged victorious in a closely contested encounter against Kyan Mavany, winning 2-4, 4-3, (10-4) in a gripping summit clash.
The Mixed Doubles category also produced competitive fixtures. In the opening round, Anisha Kadam and Aaron Saldanha went down 5-7 to Anindita Sarwate and Gary Steele in a tightly fought match.
In the quarterfinals, Dunstan Dias and Raisa secured a convincing 6-2 win over Valencia Aguiar and Deepak Nahak. Prince Silva and Urvi Panandikar advanced with a 6-2 victory against Poojal and Mohit Manoharan. In another quarterfinal encounter, Prince Silva and Urvi Panandikar overcame Dunstan Dias and Raisa in a closely contested match that finished 6-1, 5-7,(10-1)
