Director of Census Operations, Goa, Cheshta Yadav, IAS, today addressed media at Seminar Hall of Secretariat, Porvorim; regarding India’s first-ever digital Census 2027, which will begin with Self-enumeration in the state of Goa for a period of 15 days from 1st April to 15th April, 2026.
The 1st phase of census 2027 i.e. Houselisting and Housing Census is to be conducted in the State of Goa from 16th April to 15th May, 2026, under the Census Act, 1948.
