Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant along with Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte, attended the Ideabaaz Startup Goa Day 2026 celebrations organised by Sangam Seva Foundation in association with Ideabaaz and supported by the Government of Goa at Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), Panaji on Saturday.
In his address, the Chief Minister emphaised on the contribution of the entrepreneurs in nation-building. Dr Sawant hailed the initiative of ‘Ideabaaz’ founded by Goan-origin multipreneur Sagoon Wagh and other stakeholders for coming up with the entrepreneurship-promoting platform in the state.
‘Ideabaaz Startup Goa Day 2026’ witnessed opportunities galore for Goan startups with top 5 startups and 1st Goencho Udyogpati – Ideabaaz Goan Brand Ambassador 2026 being declared.

Festa Craft founder Geetanjali Lobo was conferred with the honour of being the 1st Goencho Udyogpati powered by Ideabaaz.
Entrepreneurship is at the core of empowerment and women’s orientation towards the self-employment sector will now have a stronger support system as Sangam Seva Foundation, FICCI FLO Mumbai and Innovari entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Ideabaaz Startup Goa Day 2026 finale here in Goa on Saturday.

One of the highlights of Ideabaaz Startup Goa Day 2026 event was the incredible story of students of Union High School, Chimbel, developing ‘P.R.A.N’ App to help people locate hospitals/clinics and support network in emergency situations. Mentored by their teacher Dilip Vaze, the trio – Kavita Rathod, Upasana Kumari and Dilkhush Kumar from humble households, have already represented India at Asian startups platform in Jakarta, Indonesia. Presenting their idea at the Ideabaaz Startup Goa Day 2026 here in Goa today, this unique Goan App has garnered valuable visibility among venture capitalists guests and also got the nod to scale up by getting adopted.
