GOA-BASED ‘FIIRE’ SELECTED FOR STARTUP INDIA SEED FUND SCHEME

PANAJI: Goa-based ‘Forum For Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship (FIIRE)’ has been selected under Govt of India’s Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS).

Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) announced the development on Twitter on Monday afternoon, “DPIIT looks forward to working with ‘Forum For Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship’ from Goa on the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme for financial assistance to early-stage startups.”

The objective of SISFS is to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialisation.

FIIRE is located at Don Bosco College of Engineering at Fatorda and offers various products and services to startups.
