Dy. Director (Ayush Cell/Nodal Officer NAM, Goa), Dr. Minal Joshi briefed media on the 100 days Achievements by CRU, Ministry of Ayush in Goa – Mumbai Region, at Panaji.
Dr. Joshi highlighted the major achievements of the Ministry of Ayush in its first 100 days – including the development of identifying and setting up Ayushgram centres across the state where Apiculture will be promoted in association with the Agriculture Department, providing Ayurveda treatment across Health Department’s sub-centres so that people can be aware of services under Ayush facilities, providing Panchakarma treatment and other services like mental health care.
She further stated that under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, the Ayush ministry has made remarkable progress in promoting traditional Indian systems of medicine including Unani medicine.
Dr. Joshi emphasised upon the need of incorporation of Ayush treatment into mainstream healthcare.
