PANAJI: Mapusa Shuttlers, a club affiliated to Goa Badminton Association (GBA), organised a screening of Bollywood film ‘Saina’ for badminton players/parents/ enthusiasts on 27th March.
“We have taken the initiative to help strengthen the relationship between players, parents, club and the Association, apart from motivating all the players,” stated Aniket Shenai, President of Mapusa Shuttlers.
“170 attended the screening which included state players, trainees from Panaji, Mapusa, Ponda & Sanquelim along with parents and organisers. It has been a difficult last one year for all the players, and this has been a refreshing change for them. A good movie and all our players are now extremely high on motivation and looking forward to the upcoming season which starts in April,” added GBA Secretary, Sandeep Heble.
