Celebrated Goan scientist Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar has praised “most visionary” Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant for his unique scheme of focussing on skilling. The former President of Indian National Science Academy also revealed that Anjani Mashelkar Foundation will boost Goa healthcare system with ‘med tech breakthroughs’.
Sharing his thoughts on his X handle, Dr Mashelkar revealed that he had a deep interaction with “our most visionary CM Dr Pramod Sawant on accelerating exponential inclusive growth of Goa.
“Am great admirer of his unique scheme on skilling, reskilling and upskilling Goan talent.
“Am grateful for his support for transformation of healthcare system of Goa by partnering Anjani Mashelkar Foundation for deployment of disruptive game changing med tech breakthroughs.”
Earlier, Dr Sawant met and interacted with the esteemed scientist and visionary thinker, Dr Mashelkar at the National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula.
“I am deeply honored to receive a copy of his book, ‘Durdamya Ashavad’, personally from him. Dr. Mashelkar’s extraordinary contributions to the field of science and his unwavering commitment to innovation serve as a profound source of inspiration for us all,” remarked the Chief Minister.
