CENTRAL BUREAU OF COMMUNICATION GOA ORGANISES YOGA EVENT FOR KHELO INDIA TRAINEES

Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) Goa, in collaboration with the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) Goa, successfully organised a grand Yoga Day event for the trainees of Khelo India centre at Campal.

Around 100 enthusiastic students from KISCE actively participated in the event, which aimed to promote the practice of yoga among young athletes. The programme included a series of competitions focused on traditional Yogasanas, where the participants showcased their skills and determination. Prizes were awarded to the winners to acknowledge their outstanding performances.

Leading the Yoga sessions was the renowned Yoga guru Suresh Kumar, whose expertise and guidance have benefited numerous individuals. Addressing the participants, Suresh Kumar emphasised that Yoga is India’s priceless gift to the world. He highlighted the significance of daily yoga practice, stating that it helps cultivate a calm mindset and boosts confidence among the students. These attributes, he believes, will contribute to their overall performance in various competitions.

The event witnessed the presence Sumith Mohan, the High Performance Director of KISCE, Riyas Babu, the Publicity Officer of CBC Goa, and dedicated coaches from KISCE. Their support and encouragement added immense value to the event, motivating the young athletes to embrace yoga as an integral part of their holistic development.
