PANAJI: SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics Alumni Association has appealed to the society to help in raising funds to buy Oxygen Concentrators/ Oximeters as Goa has witnessed a grim second wave of Coronavirus pandemic, thereby necessitating an increasing number of these crucial medical equipments.
SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics Alumni Association chairman Gaurav Kenkre, CA, reached out to www.livenewsgoa.com with the following public appeal.
“These are trying times and the world is facing an unprecedented crisis. More specifically, our home state of Goa is going through a surge of Coronavirus cases. In this time of need, the S S Dempo College of Commerce and Economics Alumni Association, felt that we too must pitch in to help the authorities in this fight. This message urges you to donate whatever amount possible, to our cause, and this amount will be utilised to donate ‘Oxygen Concentrators or Oximeters’ as the need be,” reads the message. The fund-raising drive will be on till 24th May 2021.
