Gopal Sakharam Sukthankar Memorial Open Rapid Fide Rating Chess Tournament 2024 organised by Mushtifund Parents Teachers Association under the aegis of Tiswadi Taluka Chess Association, Goa Chess Association and All India Chess Federation; at Institute Menezes Bragnza Hall, Panaji.
Devesh collected 8.5 points out of 9 rounds. He remained undefeated in the tournament. Chaitanya Gaonkar emerged the runner-up with 8 points. Abhishek Patil, Shane Braganza Joshua Telles and Rishikesh Parab were tied for the third place with 7.5 points each but due to better tie break, Abhishek finished third.
