PANAJI: In order to boost India’s challenge at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the Indian Olympic Association has entered into a partnership with ‘Dhyana Sports’ – a company that has developed wearable meditation device.
According to the company website, the use of such device will help tracking the mind
due to Dhyana’s ‘smart tech’.
“Dhyana is a new-age meditation tracking device. With Dhyana, you can master the practise of mindfulness and gain tangible benefits for your mind and body. Dhyana uses Infrared sensors to detect your Heart Rate Variability (HRV). By analysing your HRV, it gives you real-time biofeedback on how well your mind is responding to meditation,” says smartdhyana.com.
Former India badminton star and chief national coach of the Indian badminton team, Pullela Gopichand has advocated the usage of the device, highlighting the mental strength boost. This app is inspired from Gopichand’s personal experience.
