Punjab will face Mohun Bagan in the Dream Sports Championship Football 2025 boys’ final to be played on April 15 at Raia.
The Punjab team beat UK team, Norwich City FC 2-1 in a very fast-paced final group stage match at the SAG Utorda grounds on Saturday evening to record their third straight win. The goal scorers for Punjab were Vishal Yadav ( 12th min) and
Lalgousem Tuboi in the 94th minute. Norwich reduced the margin through a Khalil Steele goal in the 27th minute.
Earlier in the day, Mohun Bagan Super Giants (MBSG) continued their winning run in the Dream Sports Championship Football 2025 boy’s national finals, securing their spot in the finals after a convincing 3-0 win over Dempo Sports Club at the SAG Benaulim ground on Saturday.
The Kolkata team dominated their final group match in the U-17 tournament with Thangngaisang Haokip opening the scoring in the very first minute. MBSG added two more goals in the second half, with contributions of Khaiminlal Khongsai (61st minute) and Jetlee Singh (68th minute) to record their third straight win.

In the second morning match played at the SAG Utorda ground, Reliance Foundation Young Champs (RFYC) drew 2-2 with Chennaiyin FC.
Nishal scored the opener for RFYC in the 5th minute and Shawn Fernandes scored in the 45th minute. Chennai yin equalized dramatically with two goals from James Chongloi in the 48th and 62nd minute.
In the last game of Saturday, Manipur’s Football 4 Change team beat Goa’s Sesa football academy 4-0 to finish their campaign on a resounding note.
