An eco-friendly Akash Kandil competition and a Walkathon, were organised by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer as part of the #SVEEP initiative.
The eco-friendly Akash Kandil competition focused on an election theme to celebrate Diwali and promote awareness for the Special Summary Revision 2025, at Altinho. About 10 participants took part in the competition.
Payak Padkar from Canacona was declared the winner of the competition, while the second place went to Mahesh Kadji from Pernem. Prajit Verenkar from Tiswadi, got the third prize.
Sunil P. Masurkar, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, and Triveni Velip, Joint CEO, presented a certificate, awards and cash prizes to the winners.
The Chief Electoral Office, Goa in association with Goa University, organised Walkathon 2024, for creating awareness on Special Summary Revision 2025 among the general public. The walk from Goa University Library to Goa Business School and back, saw participation from CEO, Goa Ramesh Verma; Joint CEO, students of Goa University & officials of CEO office. A Special Summary Revision 2025, commenced today, i.e October 29, 2024 and will continue upto November 28, 2024.
