Prominent equity strategist, fund manager, and best-selling author Saurabh Mukherjea will be discussing his new book “Breakpoint-the crisis of the middle class and the future of work” at the International Centre Goa (ICG) on Friday, June 5 at 530pm. The event which is part of ICG’s “Kitaab-books in discussion” series will see Mukherjea in conversation with Pushkar, director, ICG. The event is free and open to the public.
Mukherjea, who is founder and chief investment officer of Marcellus Investment Managers was educated at the London School of Economics (LSE) where he earned a BSc in Economics (with first class honours) and an MSc in Economics (with distinction in macro & microeconomics).
In London, Mukherjea was co-founder of Clear Capital. Prior to setting up Marcellus Investment Managers, Mukherjea was CEO of Ambit Capital.
Mukherjea is also founding director of the Association of Portfolio Managers in India, a trade body.
Mukherjea continues to be part of multiple SEBI working groups whose role is to review and reform the rules governing portfolio management in India.
