PANAJI: All Goa Line Producers Association hopes that film shooting could resume in the State from next month. They have a cause for optimism after recently meeting Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant in what they term as a ‘productive’ meet.
Informing the key aspects of the meeting, All Goa Line Producers Association secretary Sandeep Kotecha stated that Dr Sawant put a tentative date of 1st August on restarting the shooting activity.
The issues of exorbitant rates prescribed by the different departments of State government and formulating the Goa Film Shooting Act were also discussed among others, added Kotecha.
All Goa Line Producers Association, who were represented by Sandeep Kotecha, Antonio Costa and Shiva Baba Naik, presented a memorandum to Dr Sawant.
