BAMBOLIM: Yogasana Sports Association of Goa (YSAG) organised their first state championship at Sports Authority of Goa Athletics stadium, here on Thursday.
In all, 60 students from all across Goa took part in the sub-junior, junior and senior categories. SAG executive director V M Prabhudesai was the chief guest and motivated the participants to strive for excellence.
Arif Khan topped the sub-junior boys category while Ashni Bhat Sarmalkar won the girls competition. In the junior category, Ashish Pal won first position in boys group while Farzeen Zakati reigned supreme among the girls. Due to lack of minimum required entries in senior category, competition couldn’t be held.
