Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs organised cleanliness drive under “Swachhata Hi Seva” Sagar Surakshit Sagar/Clean Coast Safe Sea campaign on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi at Miramar Beach.
All together, 800 NSS Volunteers were present along with Programme officers from 8 institutions from Panaji.
Secretary Sports Swetika Sachan, IAS , S. S. Rawat, PPS to secretary Youth Affairs Government of India, K. Mahalingam, Deputy Director, GOI Kalidas Ghatwal, Deputy Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Arvind Khutkar , Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, Supriya Mandrekar, District Welfare Officer, Social Welfare and other officials of DSYA officials were present for the cleanliness drive.
