PANAJI: Compassion FC finally registered their first win in Goa Football Association’s Vedanta Women’s League, on Saturday. They beat Young Boys of Tonca 3-0 at Rosary ground, Navelim.
Shaubdelle Gomes’ goal in the 21st minute, was the difference between the two at half-time interval.
In the second half, Compassion scored two more goals through Fatima Braganza and Syloney Fernandes to take the final score to 3-0.
Arnaldo Costa, Vice-Chairman of GFA Women’s Football Committee, gave away the player of the match award to Fatima Braganza.
