PANAJI: Dempo Sports Club on Monday announced a youthful squad with 11 players promoted from the Under-18 side, which includes 3 academy graduates, for the upcoming Goa Professional League 2020-21.
According to a press communique by the club, an impressive show in the Hero Elite League by Ryan Souza, Kanaiya Kamti, Darrell Mascarenhas, Necio Maristo Fernandes, Velanco Elisson Rodrigues, Myron Flaviano Fernandes, Vinay Harji, Danstan Randall Fernandes, Nigel Fernandes, Saiesh Bagkar and Aman Govekar; got them the nod for promotion to the First-Team.
The Eagles have also added a few new faces to the team in the form of Melroy Fernandes (ARA FC), Gaurav Vaigankar (Calangute Association) and Richard Cardozo (Sesa FA).
The coaching staff remains unchanged, manned by Samir Naik (head coach), Richard Sanchez (Assistant/Goalkeeping Coach) and Camilo Gonsalves (Manager).
