GOA YOGA PLAYERS SET FOR PRESTIGIOUS JAIPUR LEAGUE

Goa Yoga Association (GYA) has announced the state yoga team to participate at the upcoming 8th Jaipur League Yogasana/Artistic/Rhythmic/Sports Championship recognised by the  Yoga Federation of India; to be held from 23rd to 25th August 2024 at SMS indoor Stadium, Jaipur-Rajasthan.

The Goan team consists of players, who have participated at the various levels of championships and brought laurels to the state by winning medals. These players have performed well at the nationals and are the top contenders, to make an impression in the upcoming event.

The Goa Yoga team comprises Om Damodar Govenkar, Yashwant Basuraj Madar, Tejas Tandle, Divij Govind Bait, Tusu Sushant Mann, Kathyayani Mahesh Honawarkar, Priyanka Ajit Gorai, Aaradhya S Naik, Kirthi S. Itagi, Trassa S. Manna. Coach for boys: Damodar Govenkar Coach for girls: Ashwini Y. Churi.

The best of the state teams from all over India, are expected to participate in the said championship. The event consists of various categories and disciplines with about 500 players being in action in the prestigious Yoga League in Jaipur.
