Organisational aspects of the National Games 2023 especially the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, and this year’s International Film Festival of India, were some of the important issues that were discussed as Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant met Union Minister for I&B and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur in New Delhi.
The National Games 2023 are going to be held from 25th October to 9th November in Goa. The 37th edition of this tournament will have a record number of 43 sports disciplines.
“This will be the first time that Goa will host the tournament, and the state government’s preparations are quite encouraging. The Union Government is committed to providing full support to the state,” tweeted Anurag Singh Thakur.
