Government of Goa has directed all the Heads of Government Departments in Goa to actively tune in to ‘Mann Ki Baat’ monthly programme.
‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a programme conceptualised to facilitate the exchange of thoughts and ideas of the citizens on issues of daily governance. This monthly radio programme has been hosted by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi since October 2014 where he addresses the country to discuss recent government initiatives and social issues.
‘Mann ki Baat’ is broadcast on the last Sunday of each month from 11 to 11.30am on All India Radio, DD National and DD News channel.
“All heads of the State Government Departments are hereby directed to actively tune into the ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme. Departments are encouraged to draw inspiration from the positive suggestions and best practices shared during the programme, for implementation to enhance governance and service delivery in the State of Goa,” stated a circular issued by the General Administration Department of Government of Goa.
