Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission (GSRLM) in partnership with ICICI Foundation, organised programme titled “Vision on Empowering Livelihoods Towards Becoming an Agro Entrepreneur” at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali.
Project Director & CEO, GSRLM, Gopal Parsekar, inaugurated the event which has the aim of supporting Self-Help Group (SHG) women farmers by providing tools and guidance to help them increase their income and grow into successful entrepreneurs.
As part of the programme, GSRLM and ICICI Foundation distributed 100 vermicompost beds (Vermibeds) to SHG beneficiaries. The event will focus on Bicholim block as a pilot project, where SHG women farmers are actively involved in livelihood activities.
