‘HUNAR HAAT’ COMES TO GOA, EXQUISITE INDIAN CRAFT, CUISINE & CULTURE CONFLUENCE IN PANAJI FROM FRIDAY

PANAJI: A confluence of craft, cuisine and culture ‘Hunar Haat’ will commence on Friday, March 26, at Kala Academy, Campal here in Goa. Government of India’s Ministry of Minority Affairs’ initiative is aimed at preserving, promoting and providing vast market opportunities to our indigenous legacy of artisans and craftsmen.

The erstwhile Bandodkar football ground near Kala Academy is also going to be abuzz with activities of ‘Hunar Haat’, which will run till April 4 from 10.30am to 10pm.

“Besides showcasing rare handmade Handicraft and Handloom items, ‘Bawarchikhana’ at ‘Hunar Haat’ presents traditional delicacies from across the country. People also enjoy traditional cultural programmes, music from every corner of the country at ‘Hunar Haat’, which is based on the commitment to Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat,” according to the official page of Hunar Haat on a social network.
