‘ICAI BHAWAN’ TO SPARK GROWTH OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN GOA

PANAJI: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Goa branch’s headquarters ‘ICAI Bhawan’ was inaugurated by Goa Governor, PS Sreedharan Pillai at Kadamba Plateau, Chimbel, on Tuesday.

The Governor in his address, emphasised on the role of Chartered Accountants in nation-building. He advised the CAs to be alert and be dedicated to the service.

The new two-floor building along the Old Goa Bypass Highway (NH-4A) houses an auditorium, classrooms, library and information technology laboratory among other facilities.

Goa branch chairman CA. Pradip Kakodkar, expressed confidence that the ‘ICAI Bhawan’ will pave the way for growth of the profession and training. He also hoped that the new facility will become a centre of excellence for the members, research scholars and students.
