PANAJI: Indian National Rally Championship 2021 season will commence on July 30 with a rally in Chennai, according to Indian Motoring – an online motorsports news channel.

FMSCI’s INRC 2021 season originally scheduled to begin in April, had to be postponed due to the second wave of COVID-19. The 2020 season had to be truncated due to the pandemic. As such, the motorsport fraternity is eagerly awaiting a full complement of the premier rallying series of India under the aegis of Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India.

Goa’s Vaibhav Marathe, meanwhile, will be looking forward to achieve the milestone of an historic hat-trick of INRC 4 titles this year with the Ponda-based rally star back with MRF Racing team.

Vaibhav Marathe was supported by MRF Tyres in 2019 when he emerged INRC4 champion for the first time.
