PANAJI: Indian Para-Shooting Team is participating in the Shooting (Para Sport) World Cup 2021 in Lima, Peru. The event also serves as the Qualification competition for the Tokyo Paralympic Games.
The World Cup (June 10-19) will see the following Indian para-shooters in action. The team: Pooja Agarwal (Pistol Shooter), Rubina Francis (Pistol Shooter), Rahul Jakhar (Pistol Shooter), Akash (Pistol Shooter), Deepak (Rifle Shooter), Sriharsha Devaraddi (Rifle Shooter), Naresh Kumar Sharma, (Rifle Shooter), Anurodh Panwar (Pistol Shooter), Sonia Sharma, (Pistol Shooter), Krishan Kumar (Rifle Shooter).
The team has been sent at part cost to the government while most of the team-members have incurred their own expenses to represent the country.
