INDIA’S RAHUL JAKHAR BAGS GOLD MEDAL AT PARA-SHOOTING WORLD CUP

PANAJI: India’s Rahul Jakhar clinched a gold medal at the ongoing para-shooting World Cup in Lima-Peru and also booked his spot at the upcoming Tokyo Paralympics.

Rahul topped the 25 Mtr Pistol competition earlier today. Korea’s Y Kim finished second while X Gong of USA bagged the bronze medal.

India’s Pooja Agarwal, Aurodh Panwar and Rahul clinched a silver medal in 25 Mtr Pistol Mixed Team event. Sriharsha Devaraddi won a bronze medal in Air Rifle standing R4 category.

Along with Rahul, Deepak Saini also earned a spot at Tokyo Paralympics.
