The festive spirit soared to new heights during the heartwarming “Harley Santa Run & Kids Christmas Party,” a collaborative initiative by the Harley Davidson Owners Group, Goa, and the Grand Hyatt Bambolim, Goa. In partnership with the Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and Human Touch Foundation, the event held on December 23 at Grand Hyatt Bambolim; aimed to bring joy and cheer to the lives of Kathkari Tribal Children.
The day commenced at the Harley Davidson Showroom, Caranzalem, Panaji, where children eagerly anticipated the Harley Santa Run. The procession, marked by a photo opportunity at the iconic Immaculate Conception Church, Panaji, and Old Goa churches, exuded the magic of the season. Riding in branded hotel Audi cars, the children followed, adding glamour to the event.
The Palace Lawn hosted a brief inaugural ceremony, including the felicitation of riders, and Santa Claus distributed gifts, bringing smiles to the faces of the children. The celebrations continued with a kid’s Christmas party at Palace Lawns, featuring engaging activities that captured the true spirit of the season.
The Harley Davidson Owners Group, Goa, has raised a significant contribution of Rs. 1 lakh towards the welfare of Kathkari Tribal Children. This generous donation demonstrates their commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
Chairperson of Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Peter F. Borges expressed his happiness, saying: “The event not only spreads the joy of the season but also creates lasting memories for the children from the Kathkari tribe. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to the well-being and happiness of the children in our community.”
