PORVORIM: Betim United were bundled out cheaply by SK Jogging, who have an easy task of chasing the target of only 56 runs, in the first match of the Matchday 3 at the Manohar Parrikar Trophy organised by Yuva de Goa in association with Pilerne CC at GCA academy ground, Porvorim on Sunday morning.
SK Jogging medium-pacer Anush Kerkar was the pick of the bowlers with impressive figures of 3/8 in his four overs. Basuraj Madar and captain Dheeraj Narvekar took two wickets each while experienced Goa Ranji Trophy pacer Harshad Gadekar and Sagar Vantamuri picked up one wicket apiece.
Betim United were dismissed for 55 runs in 15.2 overs, the lowest total in the tournament so far, as their batsmen were poor in their shot selection after they were put into bat. Those who got into double digits were Pritesh Naik (12), Triroy Kubal (11) and Gauresh Parab (10).
