NAGESH TROPHY BLIND CRICKET: GOA BEAT MANIPUR IN OPENER

PANAJI: Goa beat Manipur by 31 runs in the opening match of 4th Nagesh Trophy Blind Cricket Tournament in New Delhi today. Goa’s Ashutosh Mhavuskar scored 71 runs in 49 balls and was named Man-of-the match.

Manipur won the toss and put Goa into bat. Goa posted a total of 171/5 in the allotted 20 overs. Manipur were restricted to 140/8 in reply. Goa’s Aftab Patel took 4 wickets giving away 38 runs in 4 overs. Sandeep Ghuge took 2 wickets. Goa will play against Jammu & Kashmir in their second match.
