Marking a significant milestone as it celebrates two decades of operations in India, NETZSCH Pumps & Systems India launched its new manufacturing facility located at the Verna Industrial Estate, South Goa. The plant was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, in the presence of the Minister for Industries, Mauvin Godinho, senior officials from the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and VDMA, members of the company’s global leadership team, Moritz Netzsch – Shareholder & Member of the Executive Board – NETZSCH Group, Paul Netzsch -Shareholder & Member of the Executive Board – NETZSCH Group, Andreas Denker – CEO Pumps & Systems, Vivek Norman – Managing Director, NETZSCH Pumps & Systems India among others.
Advanced Infrastructure with Sustainable Design
Spread across approximately 45,000 square metres, the new facility includes a production floor area of 12,500 square metres. It is equipped with advanced manufacturing infrastructure, modern assembly lines, and enhanced testing capabilities designed to support higher production volumes and improved operational efficiency.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainable industrial growth, the facility features a 400 kW rooftop solar installation and has been designed to meet IGBC Gold Standard certification requirements. The eco-conscious design underlines the company’s focus on energy efficiency, reduced carbon footprint, and responsible manufacturing practices.

The investment is expected to significantly enhance production capacity while creating new employment opportunities in the region. The expansion reinforces Goa’s position as a growing industrial hub and contributes to the strengthening of the local manufacturing ecosystem.
Speaking at the inauguration, company representatives emphasized that the new facility represents more than infrastructure expansion—it reaffirms NETZSCH’s long-term commitment to India as a strategic growth market. The collaboration between the German headquarters and Indian operations continues to foster technology exchange, engineering excellence, and sustainable industrial development.
Established in Chennai in 2005 as NETZSCH Technologies India Private Limited and expanding to Goa in 2010, the company has consistently delivered reliable pumping and system solutions to customers across industries.
