This collaborative initiative is poised to magnify the reach of the Skill India campaign and the Chandrayan Mission by captivating the attention of the masses.

With the thematic focus on “Skill India,” the selfie point stationed at the Panaji bus stand, and the one at the Madgaon railway station, themed around the “Chandrayan Mission,” have rapidly gained popularity amongst commuters.

Positioned strategically within the bustling concourses of both the bus stand and railway station, these selfie points have successfully drawn thousands of daily commuters, transcending diverse age groups and backgrounds.

The enthusiasm emanating from this initiative is palpable, as individuals from all walks of life eagerly partake in capturing memorable selfies. One such  participant, Ritik Seth, a young enthusiast hailing from Uttar Pradesh, commended the installation at Madgaon railway station, noting, “This signifies the accomplishment of New India as the Chandrayan Mission embodies the aspirations of the youth of New India.”

Seth’s involvement extended beyond a solitary selfie, as he rallied his friends to commemorate the occasion with a group photograph alongside the installation.

It is evident that the allure of the ‘New India’ selfie points is not confined to Seth alone. Numerous passengers have been observed engaging with the installations, each selfie encapsulating their unwavering support for the Skill India program and Chandrayan Mission.

An officer from the Central Bureau of Communication Goa commented on Tuesday, “Although we are not officially quantifying the number of selfie enthusiasts, it is unmistakable that passengers are embracing this initiative and seizing the opportunity to capture moments of unity and achievement.”

The selfie points at both locations will remain accessible until August 17, allowing an extended window for even more individuals to participate in this innovative endeavor.
