“Observatory Towers and Viewing Galleries on the New Zuari Bridge is a visionary project inspired by global landmarks and rooted in Goan heritage; and marks a monumental leap in Goa’s tourism and infrastructure landscape,” emphasised Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant as he joined the Groundbreaking ceremony at the hands of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in the presence of Union Minister Shripad Naik among others.

Standing 125 metres above sea level, this first-of-their-kind tower in India will offer breathtaking 360-degree view, world-class dining, art galleries, and immersive cultural experiences, all while generating jobs and driving local economic growth, underlined the Chief Minister.

Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, Gadkari highlighted the significance of the project estimated at Rs 270.07 crores and set for completion in 5 years. The project will feature Eiffel Tower-inspired observatory towers, complete with a revolving restaurant, art gallery, viewing decks, and modern tourist amenities.

Designed as a global attraction, it will include 7.5-metre-wide walkway bridges on both marine sides for seamless access and parking facilities at both ends, creating a landmark addition to Goa’s vibrant tourism landscape.

“Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it will boost local economies, generate employment, and showcase India’s commitment to world-class infrastructure, enhancing its stature on the international stage as a hotspot for architectural and experiential tourism,” stated Gadkari.
