PANAJI: The Panjim Gymkhana Members League (PGML), a one-of-a-kind T-20 tourney is set to kick off this weekend with the inaugural match to be played between Manas Mavericks and Baale Tigers on the morning of 8 January, 2022.
The PGML matches which are scheduled to be held over the weekend, will witness five teams battle for supremacy in the league, which will be played in a round-robin format.
The inaugural match will see Manas Mavericks take on Baale Tigers on the morning of 8 January followed by Dempo Challengers taking on Prescon Panthers in the second half of the day. On the following day 9 Jan, LPK 11 will meet Prescon Panthers in the first half while Manas Mavericks will clash with Dempo Challengers in the latter half of the day.
The action resumes on 15 January with Dempo Challengers meeting Manas Mavericks in the first half of the day and Baale Tigers taking on Prescon Panthers in the second half.
On the following day 16 Jan LPK 11 will meet Manas Mavericks in the first half while Baale Tigers going head-to-head with Dempo Challengers. 23rd Jan will witness teams clash on the pitch to win a position in the qualifying segment.
LPK 11 will meet Dempo challengers on the 22nd Jan in the first half followed by Manas Mavericks taking on Prescon Panthers in the second half.
Qualifying matches are scheduled on 23rd January and 29th February before the grand finale on 30th January 2022 where the titans will clash to win the coveted Panjim Gymkhana Members League T20 title.
