Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju took oath as the Governor of Goa at New Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula on Saturday.
The oath was administered by Alok Aradhe, Chief Justice of Bombay High Court Goa.
Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant, Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India, Ram Mohan Naidu, Union MoS for Power & New & Renewable Energy, Shripad Naik, MP Rajya Sabha, Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly, Ramesh Tawadkar,
Council of Ministers, MLAs, Leader of Opposition, Yuri Alemao, Chief Secretary, Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, and other senior Government officials were present for the oath ceremony.
A Guard of Honour was given to the Governor at the entrance of the New Durbar Hall.

In his congratulatory message, Dr Sawant said: “His vast experience in public life and deep commitment to democratic values will immensely benefit the people of Goa. I look forward to working closely with him in strengthening the vision of development, welfare, and good governance in the state.”
