IM Nitish Belurkar amassed 8.5 points and was crowned champion at the All-Goa Rapid Chess Liberation Cup tournament 2022 organised by Queens Chess and Cultural Club at Dr. KB Hedgewar School, Cujira-Bambolim.
AIM Ethan Vaz, Mandar Lad and Reuben Colaco were placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. They scored 8 points each while Ayush Pednekar, Shane Braganca and Paarth Salvi were placed 5th, 6th and 7th with 7.5 points each.
Earlier IM Nitish Belurkar, AIM Ethan Vaz and AFM Diya Sawal were felicitated by Queens Chess and Cultural Club for their achievements in chess.
