RG Hospitals Goa has announced the RG Marathon 5.0, Goa’s largest running event, to be held on October 13th, 2024, at the Goa University Ground supported by the Government of Goa and Union Bank. This exciting event promotes health, unity, and vitality, attracting thousands of runners across India and beyond.
The run will be held in three categories: 5KM, 10KM, and 21KM. The first flag-off will be at 5:30 am for 21km, followed by 5:45 am for 10km and 6:00 am for 5km, allowing runners of all levels to participate. Exciting cash prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. Milind Soman, India’s renowned fitness icon, will be present to motivate participants, revealed the organisers at a press conference in Panaji on Saturday.

Cash Prizes Include – 5K Run – ₹10,000, ₹7,500, and ₹5,000 for the top three finishers, 10K Run: ₹25,000, ₹15,000, and ₹10,000 for the top three finishers, and 21K Run: ₹51,000, ₹31,000, and ₹21,000 for the top three finishers.
