PANAJI: ‘Goa Fire Run’ scheduled for April 13, has been postponed due to the rise in Covid-19 cases implying restrictions of strict SOPs, in Goa.
A press communique by Runbuddies.club, states: “The Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, Goa, who had made preparations to hold the “Goa Fire Run” 21 km, 10km, and 5 km Walk & Run (Marathon) scheduled on 13th April 2021 to pay homage to the Firemen Martyrs, have postponed the event due to restrictions of strict Covid protocols in Goa State. This decision has been taken to prevent further spreading of the Coronavirus among the participants and organizers. We will announce the new date soon.”
“The participants who have completed their registration will carry over to the new date as is without any increase in registration charges,” added the press release.
