Department of Urban Development’s circular has paved the way for people to seek separate house numbers and easy repair option for their shared homes.
Families can now get separate house numbers for portions of existing homes, allowing independent water and electricity connections.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant emphasised the reform as a step towards Viksit Goa, ensuring dignity, ease, and self-reliance for every Goenkar.
The Chief Minister also announced the launch of simplified repair permission guidelines for single dwelling units in municipal areas.
The option is applicable to houses with house tax paid for over 5 years. To avail the repair permission, the approval is obtained within 3 working days.
“This initiative is a step forward in ensuring faster, hassle-free home repairs and enhancing the Ease of Living for the people of Goa,” remarked Dr Sawant.
