‘Synergy 2023’ – the 6th International Conference of The Association of Shalaki, focusses on profound impact of Ayurveda’s Shalakya Tantra.
With Goa endeavouring to boost it’s medical tourism, the International Conference puts the spotlight on the holistic healing via Shalakya Tantra.
Shalakya Tantra is a branch of Ayurveda which deals with diagnosis and management of diseases occuring above the clavicle i.e diseases of eyes, ears, nose, throat, head and neck. Since this speciality deals with narrow and delicate parts of the body, it requires various specialised instruments for diagnosis and treatment, states the information on All India Institute of Ayurveda website.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant addressed the inaugural session of the conference. “Goa Government is committed to fostering research, interdisciplinary diagnostics, and promoting the holistic routine of Ayurveda worldwide,” stressed the CM.
