‘State Red Run 2023’ – a five kilometre run, was held in Panaji on Sunday. Chief Medical Officer of DHS Goa, Dr. Uttam Desai flagged off the event for college students, organised by Goa State AIDS Control Society, Panaji.
The purpose of the event was to create awareness among youth and to actively engage them in disseminating information related to HIV/AIDS, adolescent health, Mental Health and other public health issues.
The run began from near the V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar, moved to the Dona Paula junction and back. Students from all Colleges, NGOS, youths, DHS officials participated in the run.
