Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant launched Swachhata Hi Seva State level campaign, 2024 on the theme “Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar Swachhata” – 15 days programme, on Tuesday. The campaign will be held till 2nd October, 2024.
The function was organised by the Department of Urban Development & Goa State Urban Development Agency in collaboration with the Department of Panchayat, Department of Rural Development & Corporation of the City Panaji in Panaji.
Panchayat Minister, Mauvin Godinho, CCP Mayor, Rohit Monserrate – CCP Mayor, Secretary (Urban Development), Sanjay Goel, IAS, Director Dept. of Rural Development, Gopal Parsekar, Director Urban Development, Brijesh Manerkar, Director Panchayat, Siddhi Halarnkar were also present.
“In the last decade Goa, India has made tremendous progress towards Swachh Bharat. This year the Swachhata Hi Seva with the theme of Sanskar Swachhata, aiming at cultivating, imbibing as Sanskar, Swabhav- Natural Habit. The Govt of Goa is committed to put efforts to keep Goa clean, and expects the people’s participation with Swachhata Ki Bhagidari,” stated the Chief Minister.
