In order to promote the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant’s initiative of Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa 2.0 (ABSG 2.0), the Government of Goa will organise an interactive programme (Webinar) to explain and propagate schemes and services pertaining Swayampurna Goa, on Saturday (24th May) at 10.30am. The webinar will be Live Streamed on YouTube channel of the Chief Minister. Goans can follow the live programme even by visiting their local panchayat, informed B. S. Pai Angle, Managing Director of EDC Ltd.
“Under ABSG 2.0, EDC Ltd has initiated a special drive since 15th April 2025. Our officers have been visiting all the Panchayats and Municipalities of Goa to explain our loan schemes and services to the people. Till now, we have covered around 50 per cent of village Panchayats and 6 Municipalities of Goa. We plan to cover the remaining Panchayats and Municipalities shortly,” added Pai Angle during a press conference at EDC House in Panaji on Friday morning.
EDC’s loan schemes and services like Chief Minister Rozgar Yojana, which has undergone a major revamp, Goa Tribal Employment Generation programme among others; valuable insights into entrepreneurship education by EDII, will be explained in detail during Saturday’s live interactive programme to boost the Government-led community level action plan to make each and every Goan self-reliant.
