Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has highlighted the progress achieved by ‘Narishakti’ coming together under various initiatives of the government as Goa aims to enhance the number of Self Help Groups to 5000 and 1 Lakh women connected with it.

Speaking during the inauguration of Swayampurna Goa Saras 2025, Dr Sawant emphasised the commendable performance of ‘Women Entrepreneurs’ for the 100 per cent repayment of loans for SHGs. Drawing attention to impressive statistics, the Chief Minister praised the women’s soaring financial graph where 828.04 Lakhs as Revolving Fund is employed to enhance financial inclusion at grassroots Level, 337.37 Crore disbursed through Bank linkage, 2015 Lakhs as Community Investment Fund in the state.

The Chief Minister, who witnessed signing of MoU with Model Cluster Level Federation, also felicitated Lakhpati Didis, Women Entrepreneurs linked to SHGs, Best Performing Farm Livelihood SHG Members, Best Performing Bank Sakhis, and Members of the Cluster Level Federation.

Dr Sawant described Swayampurna Goa Saras 2025 as a platform that brings trade and culture together. “I welcome and congratulate SHGs participated at the Goa Saras 2025 and appeal everyone to visit the exhibition and make contribution to the vision of Swayampurna Goa.”
