PANAJI: An initiative of the Forum for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship (FiiRE), ‘Transfer of Technologies (ToT)’ online event is drawing wonderful ideas. LiveNewsGoa.com will put some of these concepts under the spotlight accompanied by views from the industry experts.
Shailendra Rakhecha has submitted the idea of an ‘Active A.R T-shirt. Entailing augmented reality in a ‘graphical movement T-shirt,’ the description of the concept highlights a two-way interaction between a wearer and person focussing a camera over live dual interactive game which also will help them to be physically active while playing mobile games. The idea is in the ‘Prototyping’ stage and the ideator is looking for ‘Co-Working & Investment’.
Sarvesh Gaonkar, a Quality Assurance Engineer, appreciates the idea and is excited about an ‘interesting’ future with augmented reality.
“AR games are the next thing now, where we try to fit virtual graphics/characters into our own surroundings. It’s adding a fun element in our surroundings via virtual representation. The T-shirt idea just fits in there where it tries to provide interactive elements amongst kids/people. Moreover, the idea although being raw, it is really nice. However, the team has a lot of scope for improvement and make it better and more fun,” explained Sarvesh, who works for a gaming company in Pune.
“I definitely feel that more interesting things can be done with the idea to make it better. For a start, the idea is really good,” he added.
‘ToT’ is a platform providing an opportunity for collaboration. The online event, which will be conducted on July 24 from 10am to 1pm via Zoom, envisions coming-together of ideas and collaborators, potential co-founders; thus connecting and building relationships with stakeholders like mentors and experts in the industry and lots more.
