The Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Altinho, Panaji; conducted a comprehensive training session for Booth Level Officer (BLAs 1) of all 40 Assembly Constituencies in the State in view of forthcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR). This initiatives was a part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the Electoral process and ensure the accuracy and transparency of Electoral Rolls in accordance with the guidelines of Election Commission of India, New Delhi.
The training focussed on the role of Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to assist in the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and in preparation and verification of Electoral Rolls. Booth Level Agents (BLAs) were also trained on how to effectively coordinate with the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to ensure maximum participation and accuracy in Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
The trainers who successfully conducted this session included Sangeeta Naik, Nodal Officer for ERoll/ Special Land Acquisition Officer, Goa Industrial Development Corporation, Dr Nilesh Fal Dessai, Director of Archaeology, Panaji Goa and National Level Master Trainer (NLMT) of Election Commission of India, New Delhi and Vinod Zambaulikar, Cacora Government ITI, Curchorem & National Level Master Trainer (NLMT) of Election Commission of India, New Delhi.
