TRANSCEND GOA 2026: SETTING THE STAGE FOR FUTURE OF CREATOR ECONOMY

Transcend Goa 2026, organised by the Entertainment Society of Goa and Goa Futureproof, with the support of the Government of Goa; commenced on a high note, marking a compelling beginning to a two-day conclave dedicated to shaping the future of Transmedia, content, and the creator economy.

The opening ceremony was graced by the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, alongside Dr. V. Candevelou, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Goa; Delilah Lobo, Vice Chairman, ESG; and senior leadership from ESG including CEO Asvin Chandru, IAS. Also present was Sajan Raj Kurup, Chairman, Creativeland Group, along with several prominent industry dignitaries, lending gravitas to the inauguration.

The day commenced with a compelling keynote address by Sajan Raj Kurup, who took the audience through the width and breadth of building and scaling a Transmedia IP. His address underscored the importance of storytelling ecosystems that seamlessly integrate film, digital, animation, gaming, and immersive experiences.

Throughout the day, Transcend Goa 2026 hosted a series of engaging sessions and panel discussions, featuring some of the most respected voices in the Indian and global entertainment industry. Notable speakers included filmmaker Raja Krishna Menon (Airlift), producer Monisha Advani (Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway), producer Vijay Koshy (Gullak), and Sanjay Gupta and Vasu Gupta, founders of Raj Comics.

The conclave also saw thought leadership from Ashish Kulkarni, Chairman of the AVGC–XR Forum, FICCI; Raghava Krishna, Founder, Brhat; Shobha Sant, CEO, Creativeland Studios; Rajiv Chilaka, Founder of Green Gold Animation; and Vignesh Raja, Co-Founder of AR Rahman’s Secret Mountain, among others.

Day 1 set the tone for meaningful dialogue and collaboration, with panels focusing on emerging trends in Transmedia storytelling, film and digital content creation, immersive technologies, and evolving entertainment business models. Delegates and creators engaged in insightful conversations aimed at fostering innovation and sustainable growth within the creator economy.

With strong participation and high-energy discussions, Transcend Goa 2026 continues to build momentum as it moves into Day 2, further strengthening Goa’s position as a future-forward hub for creative industries, stated a press release.
